So the government goons continue to plea for robbing the taxpayer. Cheney and others continue to attempt to strong-arm Congress into passing $700 billion for the rich. And make no mistake about it — this cash will come from men with guns taking it from people who earn it (government taking it from taxpayers) — there is no other way for government to get ANY money.

And of course, as with any government program, the cries and wailing about the “dire consequences” of “not acting” are being brought out. Of course, it’s mostly lies, but again, that’s how government works.

The “dire consequences for the national economy” would be that companies that lend money to people who cannot pay it back would actually be held responsible for their actions. But as you can see, the primary purpose of government for at least the last decade, is to ensure that people are NOT held responsible for any of their actions.

Also, keep in mind, when this mother of all bailouts passes Congress, it will be a Democrat Congress that passes it. So when the Democrats claim to be the friend of the “working man,” that will be even more lies.
