Hello and welcome to Ogre’s Politics and Views. Thank you for stopping along and thanks for reading this little section about the blog!
This blog is generally political in nature (hence the title). In the mornings, you’ll normally find posts and information about North Carolina state politics, sometimes with posts about Charlotte. In the mid-mornings to noon there’s often posts about national politics and news. And in the afternoons, I try and find something a little lighter for posts because everyone needs to laugh.
Fridays the fun stuff often expands a little bit more.
The political and news commentary is always based on freedom. I don’t think Ogre really fits in a political party today. He’s still got a life membership in both the NRA and the National Republican Party, but there’s no question that the Republican Party has left him — because Ogre likes freedom and liberty, which absolutely require a smaller government. Ogre supports freedom and being left alone — which today’s American government strongly opposes.
